‘Supernatural’ Cast And Creators Tease Details For Final Season, Prepare For Emotional Goodbye and Give Away Show’s Iconic Impala – Comic-Con
On Sunday morning, the cast and creators of Supernatural took the dais in Hall H during Comic-Con — for the last time. Series stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert and executive producers Robert Singer, Andrew Dabb, Eugenie Ross-Leming, Brad Buckner, and Robert Berens stepped on to the stage in what will be a long goodbye as they will end the CW series after the upcoming 15th season.

An extensive reel of Supernatural‘s greatest hits (it was over 10 minutes long!) that included footage from all 14 seasons set to the tunes of Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper” and “Bad Moon Rising” as well as Kansas’ iconic “Carry on Wayward Son”. There were lots of familiar faces and plenty of cheers in the video scrapbook celebrating the 14 seasons. That’s a lot of footage — but it is the longest-running sci-fi/genre series in the history of American broadcast television,

Marvel Phase 4 Plan Revealed, But Comic-Con’s Big Winner is Disney Plus

Marvel Phase 4 Plan Revealed, But Comic-Con’s Big Winner is Disney Plus
In a triumphant return to the San Diego Comic-Con main stage, leadership at Marvel Studios managed some splashy surprises and showed off risky creative bets for the next two years of content coming from the superhero operation.

But the biggest takeaway from the Saturday presentation inside Hall H was how important Marvel will make Disney Plus, the new digital streaming product and Netflix rival that the Walt Disney Company is launching in November.

While Variety previously reported that Marvel’s TV series would share the same worlds of the cinematic universe, it was made abundantly clear by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige that a Disney Plus subscription will be essential for keeping current on the narratives fans will see in theaters.

When the sequel “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” hits in May 2021, Benedict Cumberbatch will be joined by his fellow Avenger Elizabeth Olsen, aka Scarlet Witch. But to

‘Riverdale’ Season 4: They’re Finally Doing a Halloween Episode, Jughead’s Going to Prep School
The “Riverdale” team dropped a heap of Season 4 news on fans during the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday, revealing they’re finally doing a Halloween episode and Cole Sprouse’s Jughead is heading to prep school for senior year.

Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa also said Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) are going to become partners with a “Risky Business”-like storyline involving “maple syrup rum,” and Archie (Kj Apa) is starting a freakin’ band with his friends, y’all: The Archies, the group featured in the original Archie comics.

Plus, Bughead fans are going to be tested, as Betty (Lili Reinhart) is going to be dealing with Jughead’s move to a new school — and the fact that they just found out they share a half brother — and Josie will return for the first episode of Season 4.

‘Big Little Lies’ Review: Finale Limps to the Finish Line and Sets Up a None-Too-Inviting Season 3

‘Big Little Lies’ Review: Finale Limps to the Finish Line and Sets Up a None-Too-Inviting Season 3
[Editor’s Note: The following review contains spoilers for “Big Little Lies” Season 2, Episode 7, “I Want to Know,” including the ending of the Season 2 finale.]

When HBO ran the preview for the “Big Little Lies” Season 2 finale, there was a juicy little line at the start: “The lie is the friendship.” In that context-free clip, it sounded like Celeste was implying the friendship itself is a lie, but midway through Episode 7, when she says it to Madeline while trying to assuage her guilt, the line indicates these friendships were built on the lie, for better or worse; that this makeshift group of friends only really exists because they lied to cover up manslaughter.

This sort of switcheroo happens all the time — trailers tease a troubling scenario to build up anticipation, and then the final product isn’t quite what you expect — but the telling point about this pivotal moment, which sets up the group turning themselves in as the season comes to a close,

SAG-aftra Leaders Approve Proposal for New Film-tv Contract

The SAG-AFTRA national board has approved proposals for a successor deal to its master contract covering feature film and primetime television — a key step in the upcoming negotiations cycle with companies.

The board approved the package Saturday with the performers union declining to reveal any specifics — its usual policy. The board established the wages and working conditions committee in April to craft the proposals and appointed president Gabrielle Carteris as chair — a post that she filled in the 2017 round of negotiations.

The current three-year deal with the studios, negotiated through the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers,
